Report: Inmate charged with tattooing child killer was victim’s cousin

COLUMBUS, Ind. – An inmate accused of forcibly tattooing a slain 10-year-old girl’s name onto her killer’s forehead in an Indiana prison was the victim’s cousin, a family friend said.

Jared Harris, 22, is a cousin of Katlyn “Katie” Collman, family friend and spokesman Terry Gray confirmed to The Republic newspaper. He said he did not believe they knew each other well.

Harris, 22, who is serving time on a burglary conviction at Wabash Valley state prison in Carlisle, has been charged with battery and is accused of tattooing “KATIE’S REVENGE” across Anthony Ray Stockelman’s forehead.

Kick ass. I’m so for the scarlet letter thing, especially in this case.

I’m so not politically minded

Neo-Liberal
You scored 50% Personal Liberty and 34% Economic Liberty!
A neo-liberal believes in moderate government intervention on personal matters and moderate to high government intervention on economic matters. They believe in a social safety net or welfare state and try to balance personal liberty with safety or security. Some neo-liberals believe in more foreign intervention or war then most other leftists. Others are more like Centrist Democrats. More authoritarian-leaning Neo-liberals (such as personal 40/economic 30) are the result of a “fusion” between “old left” and “new right” tendencies.
My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 99% on Personal
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 99% on Economic

I really lean left

Posted by pavlovskitty on October 17, 2006

It hits me every once in a while how much I favor my left side. Three of my four tattoos are on the left. My anklet is on the left. I have two bracelets on the left and none on the right. And from where my nose was broken way back when, even *it* seems like it goes left. :)

More fun

Posted by pavlovskitty on October 13, 2006

All I want is a haircut, but I’m here with my sister’s kids since she hasn’t had a day off in forever, and she and Kacie are out. We did go to lunch earlier, the four of us (her youngest one too). But then we realized that it was late, so someone had to be here when her older two got off the bus.

I probably shouldn’t be typing now. I startled my sister at lunch when I got an amazing arm cramp cutting my chicken. I love her, but she still doesn’t get it – that I’m not just sore and whiney, but honestly sick. I had to eat the rest of my dinner with my left hand, until I could take some anti-inflamatories.

So my sister and Kacie take the car to the post office, and promptly get pulled over. See, the metro doesn’t have mounting brackets on the front bumper, which means it doesn’t have the front plate. And it’s out of registration. And she has a Florida license driving a Texas car. And the new insurance card was right here on the bar. My neighbor quickly drove it to them, so they took that off the ticket.

Oh, and did I tell you what happened to my car this time? I was in Half Price books, and they paged the owner of my car. I sighed, thinking they wanted me to move it, since it was in the parking spot closest to their front loading doors, but no! Seems an employee had been walking a little to close to my car, and knocked off the passenger’s mirror. I had to laugh, since when I was pg with Brody, someone had done it to my driver’s side, but never confessed. I just came outside one morning and found it on the ground next to my car. So I commenced my shopping experience, carrying side mirror with me. I still have to get the estimate on that one, but it’s almost not even worth the time. I swear, after this long, my Metro has become a disposable car. *sigh*

Fuck you Direct TV

Posted by pavlovskitty on October 5, 2006

I waited a week for installation, and three hours after they were supposed to be here called to find out where they were. This began three hours of phone time, factoring hold times, and two disconnects. At the end, it was determined that the couldn't find which contractor had my installation, so they would have to reschedule in another week. I said no, to cancel the order.

Which was frustrating enough. But now here's where they can bite my ass. They're holding my $200 deposit. At the time I said to cancel the order, I was told it would be refunded in 3-5 business days. Today, business day 7, I call, and am told because it wasn't taken against a credit card, but a debit, they have 60 fucking days to refund it. And that I would have my $200 back BY NOVEMBER 22. It took them ONE HOUR to pull the money, but they can't return it for TWO MONTHS?

Where do I get these wonderful toys?

Posted by pavlovskitty on October 4, 2006

Good evening my pets. Now that I'm breaking in my new compy, I'm sure you would all love to know what has occupied my time the past month or three. Let's see, I'm still unemployed. The job with the lawyers lasted a week and the fuckers still haven't paid me. I don't expect they will. As for school, the financial aid office is a joke. I'll be starting in the spring instead of the fall.

Now my health. My rheumatologist has upped my dosage of methotrexate, and I got a cortisone booster last week. Hemoglobin was back down again, but not in the scary realm. And thanks to the totally unpredictable weather in the Big D, I caught an evil cold last week. I'm no longer on 24 hour cold medicine though – woo-hoo! And to risk the scorn of some of you, I'm seriously considering applying for disability.

Miss Amy continues to shine, as usual. I know I take it for granted some days her gifts. Her English teacher is studying for her doctorate, and asked if she could study Amy for a couple of her papers. However, please don't think the child is perfect. She is coming off three weeks grounding. Two for taking a $5 out of my purse and leaving a note, and the third for her mouth about the situation. Seems she couldn't find her id badge, so instead of looking for it, or asking, she decided just to take the money. That afternoon when she got home, I had her empty her book bag, and whaddya know! She had to earn the money back, write sentences about being irresponsible, and got no tv – including games or watching others play – for two weeks. And like I mentioned the third was for her smartass preteen mouth. Ah, I love puberty.

Miss me terribly?

I rebuilt the computer, well, I should say built a new one this week. I think the only old part is the cd burner. So I'm back up at home now! I'll be ready to share my wit and wisdom as soon as I get this new box all worn in.
